Spain in Winter

What is Spain like in December? What is Spain like in January? What is Spain like in February?

Christmas and New Year’s traditions and celebrations are very important here in Spain. While it can be cold, you’ll rarely find snow in the favorite cities of Madrid, Seville and Barcelona. January and February are similar or maybe a bit colder but offer the advantage of much less tourism.

By far the best climate in Europe for Christmas or New Years mught be found in southern Spain’s Andalucia region where you can enjoy the exotic architecture, tapas and festive flamenco guitar and dance traditions. Imagine splendid Seville, coastal Malaga or Granada.
