Day One

Seville's UNESCO Secrets

Seville is know as one of Europe's most gorgeous cities.The architectural blend of Moorish, Barroque and Renaissance and river setting is remarkable. During the peak of the Spanish Empire, Seville was Royal Port and the New York City of Spain. It also became one of Europe's wealthiest and largest cities. As such, it has world class highlights like the Alcazar Palace & Gardens, used in Game of Thrones, the Plaza de España, adorned with intricate artisanal tiles or the huge Cathedral, home to the Giralda tower. Inside we find the tombs of kings and 16th century explorers like Colombus.

Day Two

Hike the Hills & Eat the Tapas

Enjoy easy trail walking to discover ancient shepards trails in the historic hills in the foothills of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla enroute to our favorite area for rural but easy trail walking and then dining well. We often have a delicious traditional tapas lunch in one of the prettier small towns in the area. From there, our driver will zip you to your hotel in the center of Seville in time for Flamenco!

Day Three

The Town That Defied Julius Caesar... and Survived

Discover some of the deep Roman Heritage of Andalucia today. Experience a 2000-year-old town walled town, where history comes alive. Its cobblestone streets whisper Roman & medieval legends. Learn the story that united Julius Caesar to this town, that to some seems almost a living museum. It awaits on its ancient hilltop with a unique history and architecture like a Hollywood film. We can also visit and archeological site to see Roman underground tombs of the elite Patrician classes.

Day Four

Easy Hiking between Olive Groves & Villages

Easy Hiking between Olive Groves Villages -Discover the heart of rustic Andalucia, where history and nature intertwine. We will depart Seville with our private driver to enjoy a few hours of relaxing trail, walking between medieval villages. If desired, we can arrange for a local guitarist to meet us in one of the villages for a bit of traditional music. Later, we will arrive at the most famous medieval hilltown of Southern Spain, Ronda. Check in for two nights in our favorite deluxe central hotel.

Day Five

Ronda, the White Hilltown & Wine Country

Today discover Ronda on a private guided walking tour. This a dramatic clifftop village, a romantic place of simple beauty that captivated Hemingway and many more. Don't miss towering cliffs of Tajo and the Puente Nuevo. Ronda also has a buzzing collection of boutique wineries. By prior request, we can arrange private wine tastings and meals... Optionally, ask us about including White-washed Hilltowns like Arcos de la Frontera Grazalema or the Zahara de la Sierra or gourmet Olive Oil Mills.

Day Six

Amazing Alhambra Citadel & Granada

Granada is calling. We depart this morning with our private driver and arrive at Granada. With a top local guide, discover the exotic beauty and complex architecture of the Alhambra. This is a hilltop citadel built for the Moorish elite in medieval times. It includes exquisite palaces, jaw-dropping vistas, lush gardens, a fortress and even an old harem. Surrender to the splendor of el Alhambra, The Alhambra beckons, ready to mesmerize your senses.

Day Seven

Private Transfer to Train or Airport - Departure Day
