Day One

Arrival in Marrakech: Jemaa el-Fna at Dusk

Your driver meets you at Marrakech Menara Airport and takes you to your hotel, where a welcome gift awaits on arrival. Later, your guide meets you in your hotel lobby and leads you into the halqa circle at Jemaa el-Fna, the cultural space recognized by UNESCO for the storytellers, performers, and oral traditions that still animate the square. The evening ends on the rooftop terrace of Le Salama, over traditional mint tea and Moroccan pastries, with Jemaa el-Fna unfolding below.

Day Two

The Red City: A Full Day in the Medina of Marrakech

A full day inside Marrakech’s UNESCO-listed medina with your private guide. The morning begins at the Koutoubia Mosque before continuing through the aromatic lanes of Rahba Kedima, in the heart of the Red City. Later, explore Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, begun in 1578, the Saadian Tombs, and the 16th-century Ben Youssef Medersa, a sequence of landmarks that reflects the religious, political, and intellectual life that shaped Marrakech over time.

Day Three

The Agafay Desert

A private transfer from Marrakech brings you to a luxury tented camp in the Agafay Desert, about an hour from the city. Arrival is timed to sunset, when the light shifts through gold and violet over the rocky terrain. A camel ride offers a quiet way to watch the day fade. Dinner follows in a desert tent, with bread from a clay oven, olive oil, and mint tea. The evening continues with Gnaoua musicians, with krakebs and guembri at the center of a musical tradition UNESCO inscribed in 2019, followed by an Ahwash performance, the collective Amazigh dance of High Atlas communities. The night ends with guided stargazing.

Day Four

Imlil, the High Atlas, and the Ourika Valley

A private transfer winds up into the High Atlas Mountains toward Imlil, the gateway village to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167 meters. Mohamed and his family receive you at their home for mint tea on the terrace, bread from a clay oven, and lunch prepared with recipes passed down through generations. Your guide translates throughout. The day ends with a transfer through the Ourika Valley to your hotel, as the mountains hold the last of the afternoon light.

Valley and mountain views from Kasbah Bab Ourika in the Ourika Valley, Morocco

Day Five

The Ourika Valley by Electric Bike

The morning begins with an electric bike ride through the Ourika Valley, a route designed for pace and landscape rather than distance. The trail passes through Tnine Ourika, where a weekly Amazigh market draws vendors and farmers from across the valley, and follows the banks of the Oued Ourika, with terraced fields and the High Atlas rising on all sides. Electric bikes keep the route relaxed, allowing the focus to remain on the scenery rather than the effort. The day ends with a private picnic lunch beside the river, with the Atlas peaks closing in above.

Private Berber tent dinner at La Sultana Oualidia

Day Six

The Atlantic Coast: Oualidia

A private transfer from the Atlas Mountains brings you to Oualidia, a lagoon village on Morocco's Atlantic coast known for its oysters and sheltered waters. At midday, a seafood barbecue is served on the beach, with wood fire, open coals, local spices, and the salt air of the ocean. At dusk, a private Berber tent is set near the shore, with dark canvas stretched over wooden poles, red rugs across the ground, low cushions, lanterns along the perimeter, and a table laid for dinner. Dinner unfolds in the Moroccan style of shared dishes beneath the stars.

Day Seven

The Oysters & Wine of Oualidia

The morning begins on the lagoon. A traditional fishing boat takes you out to Oualidia's oyster beds, where oyster farming has shaped the lagoon since the 1950s. Back at the jetty, freshly harvested oysters and local white wine are served with the lagoon below and the Atlantic beyond. It is a quiet, unhurried close to the journey.
